Digital migration will take place in 2018 - communications Minister

The Minister for Communications has made it clear to the general public that Ghana's digital migration will take place next year. Hon. Ursula Owusu - Ekufu in her address to inaugurate the board of directors of the National Communications Authority assures the general public that the digital migration will definitely come to pass.

The Ministry of Communications and the National Communications Authority has inaugurated a nine member board to steer the affairs of the National communications. The board which is being chaired by Mr Kweku Sakyi Addo has been charged by the Minister to respond to the calls of the citizens.

In conclusion, the Hon Minister Ursula Owusu reiterated that the authority this time is going to implement all the laid down rules to regulate the affairs of the media. She said any media who violate the law will be delt with accordingly. The members of the board excluding the minister are Kwaku Sakyi Addo, (chairman) Joseph Anokye, Kwabena Adu-Boahene, Bernard Aidoo Forson, Philip Asare Kwame Ayesu, Mrs Susan - Barbara Adjorkor Boye Kumaple, Paul Adom - Otchere and David Gyewu.
